Representatives of 11 countries have been elected to the IAEA Board of Governors, which includes 35 members, for the period of 2023-2024. The elections took place on Thursday at the plenary meeting of the 67th General Conference of the IAEA. The newly elected members of the Council are Algeria, Armenia, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Ecuador, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Paraguay, Spain and Ukraine.
