Belgium is completely phasing out nuclear energy. The government-to-be Prime Minister, the French-speaking Socialist party chief leading Elio di Rupo made this statement on 31 October. The consequent closedown of the Belgian nuclear power plants will start from 2015 and must finish by 2025, says ITAR TASS.
