Turkey has several times raised the issue of risks of Armenian Nuclear Power Plant operation and this time it may use the Armenian legislation as a basis. “Alliance” Party Deputy Bagrat Sargsyan expressed such an opinion at the hearings of National Assembly of Armenia in regard with amendments in RA Law “On Environmental Impact Expert Assessment.”
In her turn, Nature Protection Ministry Employee Julietta Ghalechyan clarified that the assessment of transboundary impact is introduced as a principle, when its implementation depends on international agreements.
