"Masdar" Company Intends to Build Another Solar Photovoltaic Station in Armenia

Masdar company, which is building the largest solar photovoltaic station in Armenia with a capacity of 200 MW "Ayg 1", intends to build one more solar photovoltaic station in our country combined with accumulators. The company's representatives mentioned this during their meeting with RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan.

As it is mentioned in the ministry's statement, during the meeting of the delegation led by the head of "Masdar" company Mohammed al-Shehi with TAI Minister Gnel Sanosyan, the parties discussed the process of construction of "Ayg-1" 200 MW solar photovoltaic station and the forthcoming works.

The station will be built in the area of ​​Talin and Dashtadem settlements.

The start of operation of "Ayg-1" station is envisaged in 2025. About $ 174 million will be invested.

The project is implemented jointly with Armenian National Interest Fund.
