On 3 November the executive reached a decision to close down 'Arpa-Sevan' Tunnel Recovery PIU Office of State Committee on Water Industry of the Ministry for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources. This decision is conditioned with the expiry of term for implementation works laid down in the loaning agreement of 'Arpa-Sevan' tunnel recovery signed between the Armenian Government and 'Abu-Dhabi' Development Fund (November 2016).
Reminder: with the co-funding of the Armenian Government and 'Abu-Dhabi' Development Fund from 2010-2017 'Arpa-Sevan' Tunnel Recovery project was implemented to ensure the sustainability and safety of more damaged parts of the tunnel.
With another decision of the Armenian Government, 'Akhuryan-Araks Water Intake' and 'Sevan-Hrazdan Water Intake' CJSC of the State Committee on Water Industry will be combined.
