A new public beach will be opened on Lake Sevan shore. On 1 October 2015 the executive adopted a decision to alienate 9.0 ha area from the administrative area of Tsovagyugh community, recreation zone of “Sevan” National Park to organize public beach № 8. The decision says that 67.2% of the area is located above 1905.0 meters.
It should be mentioned that the level of Lake Sevan is planned to increase to 1903.5 meters by 2030, and if to calculate the height of the wave it would be 1905 meters. All the buildings located below 1905 meters are subject to dismantling.
