The "Hetq" signaled many times that the Akhtala Ore processing Combine of “Metal Prince” Corporation belonging to Armenian Entrepreneur from the USA Serob Ter-Poghosyan, dumps its tails to the Akhtala River at nights, and these tails then flow to the Debed River.
Toxic wastes are dumped into the river, while Akhtala, Qarkopi, Shnogh, Tchotchkan and Noyemberyan villagers use this water for irrigating their orchards and gardens.
