The bike ride to protect the Tekhut wood, where exploitation of the copper-molibden deposit, was organized by young eco-activists of Armenia on Sunday, in Yerevan.
About 50 bikers with placards "Let's save Tekhut" were riding at Yerevan streets for several hours. Organizers of the bike ride are sure that it is still possible to save the unique wood. The bike ride was organized within the frames of the ecological green festival supported by the WWF and being held in Armenian since 28 March of the current year.
