Recently, information was published on the website of the Club of Economic Journalists, which says "Lydian Armenia" company is going to sell the Amulsar mining project to a Russian company. "The state will receive a 20% share from this deal, which, in all probability, will be managed by Armenian National Interest Fund owned by the Armenian government," the news said.
The company, however, issued a statement denying the rumors that it would sell Amulsar project and give a share to the state. "In response to media rumors about the Amulsar project, Lydian Armenia informs that the company has no agreement with any company to sell the Amulsar project. Also, the disseminated information according to which the state should receive a share in Amulsar project does not correspond to reality," the company said in its statement.
