Four state non-commercial organizations (SNCOs) under the Ministry of Environment of Armenia have received the first disbursements for the 2026 financial year from the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), totaling €285,000.
From the allocated funds: €90,000 was directed to “Zangezur” Biosphere Complex, €75,000 to “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve, €70,000 to “Dilijan” National Park, €50,000 to “Lake Arpi” National Park.
The funds will be co-financed with the state budget and allocated to cover the operational expenses of the SNCOs, contributing to the effective management of protected areas and the implementation of nature conservation activities.
It should be noted that earlier, “Arpa” Protected Landscape in Vayots Dzor Region also received €50,000 to support conservation and operational costs.
