On 19 August fire occurred in Botanical Garden, where 6000-7000 square meters of grass-covered territory burnt, as Botanical Garden Deputy Director Gagik Movsisyan told EcoLur on the phone. From 15 to 20 bushes of fustic and 6-7 ash trees were burnt down. As Gagik Movsisyan assured, the fire didn’t cause any damage to collection species in the garden.
