Illegal Construction Suspended in Hrazdan Gorge

The employees of Yerevan Municipality have suspended an illegal construction in Hrazdan Gorge, during which trees have been felled down.

According to the press release of Yerevan Municipality, the construction permit issued in 2017 for the construction of a rest zone at 3 and 3/1 Hrazdan Gorge allows installing light constructions, nevertheless, stone buildings have been constructed. Currently, the site developer is not carrying out any urban development activities in this area. A relevant protocol has been drawn up to impose administrative fines of the site developer,” Deputy Head of Urban Development and Land Control of Yerevan Municipality Ruben Khojayan said. After the end of this proceeding, the regulation of the problem connected with dismantling this structure will be discussed.
