Ex Head of Kentron Administrative Quarter in Yerevan Beating Alarm Signal on Destruction of Basalt Floor in Saryan Park

Victor Mnatsakanyan, Ex Head of Kentron Administrative Quarter in Yerevan, warns that the basalt floor in Saryan Park, which was built 50-60 years ago, is getting destroyed. He mentions that Saryan Park is one of the exceptional parks in Yerevan, which has a well-kept look, a stone floor and healthy trees. "90-95% of the stones are in good condition, very few percent are in a bad condition, which can be restored," Victor Mnatsakanyan said.

"There was a proposal to change the benches, which are in a disgraceful condition, the lighting that never happened at night, the irrigation system, which is old, but please, you cannot touch this floor. It is almost like replacing the statue of Martiros Saryan with a statue of a new artist," Victor Mnatsakanyan said in his video message. "Do not let them do such things," he said.
