Yerevan is getting ready for the clean-up and tree planting. On 20 October at the regular working meeting held at Yerevan Municipality the persons in charge reported to Mayor Taron Margaryan that the main preparations had been over. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to study the areas appropriate for tree planting and include them in the process. “All the open areas in the administrative districts where tree planting is possible are to be replenished with various trees. As a result of the discussions with ecologists and specialized organizations the main sorts of trees have been chosen ball-shape acacias and platans and we must enrich the green areas of the capital with them”, outlined Taron Margaryan, as the official website of Yerevan Municipality informs.
