Yerevan may face flood after this freezing cold and heavy precipitation, as environmentalists are beating an alarm signal. In her interview with the www.1in.am, Inga Zarafyan, President of 'EcoLur' NGO said, 'When the Getar was piped, environmentalists applied to the municipality beating an alarm signal that such an action could have brought to accidents. We have already experienced such a precedent. During the discussions negative opinions were raised, but the river was illegally piped, meanwhile it serves as a safety factor of the town.'
