“The crisis in Russia and Ukraine has serious impact on the economies of both countries and undermines EBRD promotion in the region,” said EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) Chief Economist Erik Berglof at the annual meeting held in Warsaw on 14 May.
“The recent economic forecast supposed the economic growth for 2014 in transition period to be 1.4%, which is lower than the forecast for January (2.7%)”. In 2015 moderate improvement by 1.9% is probable, but it can be achieved only if crisis escalation doesn’t occur,” said Erik Berglof.
Under Erik Berglof, Russian –Ukrainian crisis will start affecting on global economy.
While the economists in Armenia recorded growth in the fourth quarter of 2013 due to agriculture, industry and financial services.
