According to Israeli Haaretz newspaper, in July 2012 the US passed Israel the plan drawn up by Pentagon on probable attack against Iranian nuclear facilities. The US Department of Defense and US Special Services have already carried out certain and mainly complete work to prepare attack against Iran.
The consequences of Israel and US probable aggression against Iran have different components. Let’s refer to environmental consequences, particularly to radioactive contamination of the Armenian territory, as well as increase in seismic risk in our country and in the region.
In January 2012 when answering to Yerkir.am correspondent’s question what kind of consequences the war against Iran will have for Armenia, “Modus Vivendi” Center Head Ara Papyan said, “The probable war will have extremely serious consequences for Armenia. Armenia will incur essential economic losses, Georgia’s policy towards Georgian Armenians will become tougher, there is high probability that the use of depth bombs against the targets located at depth may result in a destructive quake in the whole region, while radioactive cloud and dust may damage the whole region.”
