On January 10-12, there were fires in about 55 hectares of grassland in some regions of Armenia. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on January 10, 2020, National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 2 alarms in the town of Dilijan, Tavush Region, over fires in 5 hectares and 200 square meters of grassland.
On January 11, "911" service received an alarm signal that about 50 hectares of grass were burning near the village of Kachachkut in Lori Regiob. The fires were completely extinguished. On January 12, firefighters rescued and extinguished fires in the 3200-square-foot area. Specifically, the fires covered 300 square meters of Ashtarak-Byurakan highway of Aragatsotn Region, 1000 square meters of Dalar village of Ararat Region, 1500 square meters of Ttujur Village in Gegharkunik Region and 400 square meters of Vanadzor Town in Lori Region.
