Ltchashen community on the shore of Lake Sevan in Gegharkunik Region has taken the path of developing a "green" economy. The Center for Territorial Development and Research (CTDR) NGO implements "green" programs in the community. The organization expands the scope of events, invites scientists to the community, launches various startups in order to eliminate fish poaching, to preserve the specially protected area of Sevan National Park, to direct the potential of the locals to the development of the community.
On July 2-4, 2021 in Ltchashen "Ltchashen in Corridors of History: Ltchashen Phenomenon” three-day workshop on alternative development was held to develop the community's tourism development strategy.
The workshop was part of the Ltchashen Open Air Museum Project, implemented by CTDR with Partnership and Training NGO within Innovation for Change Armenia subgrant, with the financial support from the Tides Center.
