The Cement Factory in Hrazdan, Hrazdan hydropower plant, the asphalt plant and other enterprises occupy about 200 ha of fertile black-earth plough lands in Jrarat quarter, Hrazdan (former Jrarat Village).
‘These operating enterprises harm and intoxicate air, nature and soil with their emitted toxic substances and gases, as well as harm our harvest, who knows drastic increase in diseases is not conditioned with this factor,’ the locals raise this problem, “we demand to take certain measures to relieve the damage caused. We don’t know whom to apply to solve our problem.”
