In the framework of "Yerevan Development 2014" program, as well as annual landscaping works 60 000 trees and shrubs were planted in the capital's administrative regions, 40 000 of which was planted during fall tree planting, and 20 000 during autumn tree planting. The Information and Public Relations Department of Yerevan Municipality informs about this. Tree species favourable for climate conditions in Yerevan were planted: ash, acacia, pine, oak, thuja and maple trees. The tree planting was carried out in irrigation areas. Works of planting 700 000 tulip bulbs were also finished in the capital.
