On 7 March Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan will present “On Approving Investment Project of Constructing a Highway in Yerevan City” project at the meeting of the Armenian Government. This project lays down the construction of a highway connecting Tsovakal isakov Avenue to Leningradyan Street. The highway will run along the border of the forest funds of Dalma Gardens, south-west to the Tsitsernakaberd Avenue. It’s rather interesting that Agriculture Ministry hasn’t made any proposal or objection in this regard, which supervises the forests of Dalma Gardens. Nature Protection Ministry also keeps silence.
