Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at the January 18 session of the RA government that 2 projects are being developed, which have not only environmental, but also great economic significance. "There are 2 projects that we discussed and I already issued instructions. One is to turn Dalma Gardens into a large city park. The other (connecting these two projects together becomes an environmental megaproject for Yerevan) is the project to turn the Hrazdan Gorge into a recreational zone," the Prime Minister noted.
It should be noted that according to the 2024 development plan of Yerevan, this year, the first stage of the creation of a community park will be implemented in the territory of Dalma Gardens on an area of about 230 hectares. The new forest park will have a forest zone, sports fields, playgrounds and a water basin. In the same document, it is mentioned about the Hrazdan Gorge that the program envisages the initiation of works to grant environmental status to the Hrazdan Gorge.
